How to Create a Cemetery Plot Listing on Eturnal Rest™ (Step-by-Step Guide)
Share
Step 1: Sign Up or Log In
Before creating a listing, you’ll need an Eturnal Rest account. This ensures your listing is tied securely to your email, and it makes it easy to manage your plots later.
- If you already have an account → Login here.
- If you’re new → Create your account here.
💡 Tip: Use the same email address you plan to receive buyer inquiries from.
Step 2: Choose Your Seller Plan
We offer two subscription options for sellers:
- Standard Plan – our most popular option with great visibility at an affordable price.
- Premium Plan – for sellers who want featured placement at the top of buyer searches.
👉 Some users may qualify for a Free Month coupon on the Standard Plan. If you see a popup or promotion offering this, be sure to claim it before you start your listing.
Step 3: Prepare Your Listing Information
Before you start the form, gather these details so the process is smooth:
- Cemetery Name & Location – buyers often search by cemetery or city.
- Plot Type – grave plot, niche, crypt, etc.
- Number of Spaces – single, double, or multiple.
- Section / Lot / Row – buyers want to know exactly where the plot is.
- Transfer Fee Information – some cemeteries charge a transfer fee; being upfront builds trust.
Step 4: Add Photos (Highly Recommended)
Listings with photos receive 3x more inquiries than those without. Helpful photos include:
- The cemetery entrance and grounds (to show the environment).
- The exact section or location if possible.
- Supporting documents (like deed/ownership certificate) with sensitive info blurred.
📷 Pro tip: Take photos in daylight for clarity and trustworthiness.
Step 5: Write a Clear, Honest Description
Your description should answer buyer questions before they ask them. Consider including:
- A short intro (why you’re selling).
- Exact cemetery section, nearby landmarks, or notable features.
- Information about transfer process or requirements.
- Pricing clarity — if you’re flexible, mention it.
Example:
“Two side-by-side plots available in Section B of Wisconsin Memorial Park. Close to the chapel, easy access for visitors. Transfer handled by the cemetery office with a $250 fee.”
Step 6: Submit & Go Live
Once your details are filled out:
- Review your listing for accuracy.
- Submit through the form.
- Within minutes, your plot will be live and visible to buyers searching Eturnal Rest.
You’ll receive a confirmation email when your listing goes live.
Step 7: Manage Your Listing
From your seller dashboard you can:
- Edit details or update photos.
- Remove the listing if it sells.
- Renew or upgrade your plan for more visibility.
