In January 1907, the Jupiter Cemetery Association purchased 4.5 acres on the north fork of Florida's Loxahatchee River. At the time, the land was located in Dade County. Since the only way to reach the cemetery was the river, the association built a pier so that caskets could be transported to the cemetery by towboat. County Line Road, as we know it today, was then a stretch of sand called Cemetery Road. In 1925, Martin County was created and the road was renamed. In 1947, Roy S. Rood became the owner of the cemetery. He enlisted members of American Legion Post 271 to place shell rock on the sand paths. He maintained the cemetery in that manner until 1973, when he bought another 30 acres and created what would become Riverside Memorial Park.

There is no pressure and no obligation. You set your own price, and you can take all the time you need.
Few or no priced plots are listed at Riverside Memorial Park right now. Across Florida, sellers on Eturnal Rest list 8 plots with a median asking price of $16,750, and most fall between $6,300 and $19,175. These are asking prices set by sellers, not appraisals or cemetery retail prices. Only 8 listings sit behind that figure, so treat it as a rough signal rather than a state average.
Yes. Any plot listed at Riverside Memorial Park on Eturnal Rest is offered by its owner, not by the cemetery office. You contact the seller through Eturnal Rest, agree on a price together, and the ownership transfer is completed with the cemetery's office. Our buyer's guide walks through each step.
