Elwood Cemetery, located in Elwood, Indiana, has a rich history dating back to the town's founding in 1853 when it was known as Quincy. The cemetery originally stretched along Duck Creek and was positioned south of the Lake Erie & Western railroad, from 10th to 13th streets. In 1895, the Elwood Cemetery Association was established to manage the cemetery and ensure its maintenance.
