Collection: Forest Hills Memorial Park - Palm City
Forest Hills Memorial Park, located at 2001 SW Murphy Road in Palm City, Florida, was established in 1976. Situated near the St. Lucie River and Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, the cemetery spans rolling hills adorned with Pine, Oak, and Royal Poinciana trees, complemented by man-made waterways that enhance its tranquil atmosphere.
In 1984, a funeral home was constructed on the cemetery grounds to provide comprehensive services to the community. By 1990, a larger and more elegant funeral home was opened to better meet the needs of Palm City's residents.
Forest Hills Memorial Park offers a variety of burial options, including traditional in-ground burials, private mausoleums, cremation niches, and community mausoleums. The park is also notable for being the final resting place of Reider Waaler, a World War I Medal of Honor recipient, and participates in the Wreaths Across America program, honoring veterans annually.
