Oak Hill Cemetery (Chicago) - Blue Island

Oak Hill Cemetery was incorporated in January 1902 by a group of men of Swedish descent. They established the cemetery to serve Swedish families on the south side of Chicago. Our cemetery was dedicated on Oct. 19, 1902. The first burial took place just a few days later on Oct. 26, 1902.
