Collection: Oakland & Fraternal Historic Cemetery Park - Little Rock

Established in 1863 as a final resting place for Civil War soldiers, Oakland is still an active cemetery today. Through the years, this 165-acre estate has been carved into six distinct cemeteries: Oakland, Little Rock National, a one-acre Confederate, Fraternal, B'Nai Israel, and Agudath Achim. Today, 108 acres of the original 165 remain as burial grounds. The cemeteries have seen more than 62,000 burials since the first in 1863.
