Collection: Pierce Brothers Westwood Memorial Park - Los Angeles

Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Mortuary and Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park have been pillars of the Greater Los Angeles community for more than 100 years. Officially established in the state of California in 1905 under the name Sunset Cemetery, the earliest on-site burials date back to the 1880s. In 1926, the cemetery was renamed Westwood Memorial Park. During this time, we began serving the growing nearby community of UCLA. In 1952, our first mausoleum was built on the grounds—now there are 10 beautiful mausoleums throughout the park.

Our lush and tranquil cemetery is located on 2.5 acres in Los Angeles. The grounds provide a quiet, picturesque place for people to remember their loved ones. In the mornings, an unmistakable tranquility makes it easy to get lost in nature’s beauty with dew dripping from the leaves underneath the California skies. The grounds are specifically designed to achieve this peaceful, park-like retreat within the city limits.
