St. Joseph’s is the only Catholic cemetery in the city of Council Bluffs and many of the early burials reflect the names of the individuals serving this faith extending from the original founding of the city. It is nestled on a quiet hillside on the east side of the city near Cedar Lawn and Walnut Hill cemeteries.
