Collection: Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park - Omaha

Since 1910, Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park has provided elegant burial and memorial options for the people of Greater Omaha. Families have many interment choices at this beautiful cemetery, including the Westlawn Mausoleum. Built between 1913 and 1915, the Classic Revival and Greco-Roman building was designed by the same architect who drafted the plans for the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.

On May 30, 1929, the Heroism Memorial was erected at the cemetery in honor of 2 young boys who saved their mother from a fire. Omaha schoolchildren collected pennies to pay for the monument.
