Collection: Woodlawn Memorial Park - Daly City
Before Woodlawn Memorial Park was established in 1904 Colma, California, it was the Masonic Cemetery in San Francisco. In the late 1800s, the city and county of San Francisco decreed that no more burials would be allowed in its vicinity. Area cemeteries fell into disrepair, including the Masonic Cemetery. In the late 1800s and early 1900s, all San Francisco burials were moved to Colma and the Masonic Cemetery relocated to where Woodlawn Memorial Park stands today.
Situated on 60 acres of rolling hills with well-manicured gardens, along with palm, cypress and pine trees and stunning views of the Colma Valley, Woodlawn Memorial Park’s beauty and serenity offer San Francisco Bay families a sense of peace and comfort.
Our memorial garden sits on the side of a hill, allowing for proper water drainage—a feature that’s especially important to Chinese families.
